I may have sung this song the most. This song was released
in the year 2005 & I started liking when I heard it for the first time &
I’ve still have been liking this song till today & I’m sure I’ll always
like it.
The song’s picturisation is so touching. One of the scenes
shows 2 friends returning home from school. The scene is very touching as even
my school’s uniform was somewhat like what Shaan & his friend wear except
the colour of the tie. It reminds me of my school days when I used to return
home from school through Hasnabad lane with one of my school friend.
Another scene shows Shaan watching a Boeing 747 plane which
even I used to see most of the time as I’ve lived close to an airport since
birth.
A scene shows Shaan & his friends learning to play
musical instruments & on a teacher’s black board the word “Mozart” is
written, Mozart has always been one of my favourite musicians after Hans
Zimmer.
Some best lines of the song are
“Dilkash nazaarein dekhe” which means that “Saw beautiful
things (saw beautiful people here)”
“Jhilmil sitaarein dekhe” which means that “Saw bright stars
(saw bright people here)”
“Aankhon mein phir bhi tera chehra hai jawaan” which means that
“Your face is still fresh in my eyes”
“Kitni barsaatein aayi, kitni saugaatein laayi” which means that
“Experienced rain so much which were like a blessing in disguise”
“Kaanon mein phir bhi
goonje teri hi sada” which means that “Your words still resounds my ears
clearly & till now”
“Maane kiye the apna hoga aashiyaan” which means that “We
promised each other that the world will be like the way we want”
“Vaadon ka jaane hoga kya” which means that “I don’t know
what will happen to those promises” (This is the best line as very few people
remember their promises)
“Tanha dil, tanha safar
Dhoonde tujhe phir kyoon nazar” which means that “I’m lonely
in my journey & my eyes keep searching you.”
