Sanjay Dutt jailed and Astrology

I don’t know the exact birth details of Shri Sanjay Dutt but as per his face & personality I strongly believe that his Birth Ascendant should be Scorpio.

Mr. Dutt surrendered to police on 16th May 2013 for illegally possessing arms in 1993.

The planetary transits for Scorpio Ascendant people had become inauspicious from 17 January 2013.

For Scorpio Ascendant people 12th house had Libra Sign. In Libra Saturn & Rahu were positioned. Saturn from 12th house aspected 2nd house (due to its 3rd house effect), 6th house (due to its 7th house effect) & 9th house (due to its 10th house effect). Rahu from 12th house aspected 4th house (due to its 5th house effect), 6th house (due to its 7th house effect) & 8th house (due to its 9th house effect).

For Scorpio Ascendant people thus 2nd house, 6th house, 8th house & 12th house all had negative aspect from 2 most malefic planets i.e. Rahu & Saturn & thus it became a jail yoga.

4th house is connected to house & home. Due to the negative effect of Rahu on 4th house from 12th house Mr. Dutt had to move away from his house. 9th house had Cancer sign & is connected to luck & as it had Saturn’s aspect. Saturn & Moon aren’t friends, this affected his luck.

Policegiri a must watch movie for all police personnel

Policegiri is a Hindi action comedy movie directed by Tamil director K.S. Ravikumar, it was produced by T. P. Aggarwal & Rahul Aggarwal. The movie starred Sanjay Dutt, Prakash Raj, Om Puri, Prachi Desai, Manoj Joshi, Mukesh Tiwari, Rajpal Yadav & various other actors. Policegiri released on 5th July 2013 & it was a remake of 2003 Tamil movie ‘Saamy.

Sanjay Dutt plays the role of DCP Rudra Adityadevraj. He’s is the protagonist in the movie & the movie revolves around him. Nagori Subramaniyam played by Prakash Raj is the main villain. Om Puri plays police commissioner's role. Inspector Javed played by Manoj Joshi is an inspector under DCP Rudra Adityadevraj. Sehar played by Prachi Desai is DCP Rudra Adityadevraj’s love interest.

DCP Rudra Adityadevraj is transferred to Nagapuram, a district located at Andhra Pradesh-Maharashtra border. The district is controlled by Nagori Subramaniyam a wealthy local mafia involved in many illegal activities like running many wine shops without permit, cheating people by selling less fuel than the actual quantity, demanding & collecting protection money from people & shopkeepers, illegally selling rocks for construction work, etc.

I’ve always been fascinated by dual life characters. In this movie Sanjay Dutt’s character has duality. DCP Rudra Adityadevraj an extreme police officer after getting transferred 7 times in his career decides to become moderate. When required he acts like a righteous police officer & when required he acts like a corrupt cop.  Soon after arriving at Nagapuram he ensures his police personnel to become righteous & ensures no police officer under him does wrong. He knows that he cannot completely stop the illegal activities that are happening but can decrease it gradually thus he tries to create some type of balance between law & outlaw.

In one incident he takes Rs. 1500000/- bribe in a hit & run murder case & leaves the perpetrator.  He gives the bribe money to the deceased’s family as he knows that the perpetrator’s imprisonment won’t do any good to the deceased’s family. He believes that the bribe money will somewhat help the deceased’s family as the perpetrator may even escape punishment as he belongs to politics.

DCP Rudra Adityadevraj tells Nagori Subramaniyamगुस्से से ज्यादा power घूस में है” (bribe has more power than anger) & accepts bribe from him & allows him to carry on some of his illegal activities provided no activity should adversely affect Nagapuram's public Despite bribing DCP Rudra Adityadevraj Nagori Subramaniyam isn't able to continue his illegal activities fearlessly in full fledge. Gradually Nagori Subramaniyam’s illegal activities decrease. This angers him & in agitation he wants the people of Nagapuram to have a बन्ध (strike) in the city. Hearing about बन्ध (strike) the local shopkeepers get worried as they’ll lose a lot of business money as it’s the occasion of Dussera (festive time when shopping increases). They all approach DCP Rudra Adityadevraj. He sympathises to the shopkeeper’s plight & ensures them that their business will be double as he & his police force will do double duty & prevent Nagori Subramaniyam’s men from holding a बन्ध (strike). Shopkeepers are able to run their shops smoothly as they get protected by DCP Rudra Adityadevraj’s police force. Eventually DCP Rudra Adityadevraj becomes a hero of Nagapuram district.

This infuriates Nagori Subramaniyam as his power & fear amongst the people of Nagapuram district decreases. He decides to kill the shopkeepers & even blasts a bomb in a big market. A lot of people in the market die.

Moments after Rudra Adityadevraj’s marriage is complete he gets information about a bomb blast that happened in a market where many innocent people died. He can’t tolerate Nagori Subramaniyam’s crimes anymore. Even on his wedding day he drives his vehicle straight to Nagori Subramaniyam's house to confront him. He collects bomb blast evidence against Nagori Subramaniyam. Nagori Subramaniyam ensures that DCP Rudra Adityadevraj gets transferred from Nagapuram district soon. DCP Rudra Adityadevraj tells Nagori Subramaniyam that he is bound to get transferred in 7 days time but 7 days are enough to finish him.

Nagori Subramaniyam pressurises Ministers, MP, MLA’s & commissioner to protect him from DCP Rudra Adityadevraj. Thus DCP Rudra Adityadevraj is called to a meeting by police commissioner where Ministers, MLAs, MPs, & Senior Police officers threaten him to not take any action against Nagori Subramaniyam.  They even show photo evidence of DCP Rudra Adityadevraj taking bribe from Nagori Subramaniyam. DCP Rudra Adityadevraj  shows them the receipts of the entire bribe money that he donated to various funds like beggar’s relief fund, orphanage, chief minister relief fund, etc. He tells that he is public’s servant & will do anything for the public rather than following the law as he doesn’t believe in the laws as some laws differ from state to state. A minister asks DCP Rudra Adityadevraj weather he is a cop or a goon. DCP Rudra Adityadevraj replies “Combo”. The MLAs & MPs then threaten DCP Rudra Adityadevraj by telling him that they will kill him if he won’t drop the idea of arresting Nagori Subramaniyam. DCP Rudra Adityadevraj smartly overpowers them by claiming to have recorded the meeting in a pen equipped with camera & voice recorder technology & he would release the footage if he isn’t allowed to arrest Nagori Subramaniyam.

All Ministers, MLAs, MPs, & Senior Police officers thus get scared & allow DCP Rudra Adityadevraj to do whatever he wants. DCP Rudra Adityadevraj leaves to arrest Nagori Subramaniyam however Nagori Subramaniyam has hid himself somewhere. Seeing DCP Rudra Adityadevraj frustrated his wife Sehar takes him to a Shiva temple & eventually DCP Rudra Adityadevraj finds Nagori Subramaniyam begging outside the Shiva temple.  He knows that somehow Nagori Subramaniyam won’t get proper punishment by the law for the crimes that he committed as he is a wealthy person & politicians support him. Thus DCP Rudra Adityadevraj kills Nagori Subramaniyam in an isolated place so that nobody will ever come to know what happened to Nagori Subramaniyam after he hid himself.

The background score is good. During the action scenes Mahabharata’s verses is played “यदा यदा हि धर्मस्य ग्लानिर्भवति भारत अभ्युत्थानमधर्मस्य तदात्मानं सृजाम्यहम्”
The verses mean "Whenever & wherever there is a decline in religious practice, O descendant of Bharata, & a predominant rise of irreligion—at that time I descend Myself."

Jhoom Barabar Jhoom Jhoom hai Ishq Krishna ki leela is the best amongst all the songs in the movie.

I’ve watched many bollywood movies on Police amongst them I liked Policegiri the most as its very hilarious & inspiring. In my personal humble opinion Mr. Dutt deserved to get the best actor’s award in all the different award functions & also a National Award for his inspiring performance. Maybe due to his imprisonment he was ignored.

Tip tip barsa pani – an unforgettable rain song

The Mumbai monsoon reminds me of many rain songs & my favourite rain song is ‘Tip tip barsa pani’ from the movie bollywood movie Mohra. The movie got released on 1 July 1994 even 20 years after its release I find the song very new & fresh.

The song was composed by Mr. Viju Shah & playback singers were Ms. Alka Yagnik & Mr. Udit Narayan. Mr. Shah from the beginning of his musical career was phenomenal in using electronic sounds. In this song he has used electronic sounds to signify sounds of rain drops. This song’s music sounds like pop & it’s very soothing. The songs of Mohra were a massive hit as it were written by great Indian lyricist Mr. Anand Bakshi. Mr. Shah’s collaboration with Mr. Bakshi was marvellous & the songs attracted the masses of Mumbai.

The song ‘Tip tip barsa pani’ featured Mrs. Raveena Tondon & Mr. Akshay Kumar. It was shot very aesthetically in a rainy weather or maybe artificial water was used to make the scene look like rainy. Mrs. Tondon & Mr. Kumar danced admirably on a under construction building. Mr. Kumar initially looked like an innocent police inspector & Mrs. Tondon looked naturally beautiful. In my personal humble opinion some very catchy aspects of the song were the Yellow coloured blouse & yellow coloured saree which Mrs. Tondon wore & an old fashioned long umbrella which Mr. Kumar had while entering the underconstruction building. The song was exceptionally choreographed by Rekha Prakash wife of choreographer Chinni Prakash.

In the movie before the song journalist Roma Singh played by Raveena Tondon wants to woo police inspector Amar Saxena played by Akshay Kumar. Roma has fallen for Amar but Amar a workaholic police inspector hasn’t & remains occupied in his police duty. Romantic Roma wants to have a date with conscientious Amar but Amar prefers to do some police duty instead. Roma says, “Well, I’ll give you a police duty. Tonight at 8 pm, a woman is going to commit suicide from the fourth floor of an under-construction building in Versova. If you’ll show up, you might be able to save her.”

The night is rainy, & Police inspector Amar Saxena reaches in time. He finds a Roma drenched in rain water wearing a yellow coloured blouse & a yellow coloured saree but she has seduction, not suicide, in her mind. And then Mr. Shah’s great composition begins.

Below is the song’s translation in English

टिप-टिप बरसा पानी – 2 (drop by drop the rain poured)

पानी ने आग लगाई (water kindled fire)

आग लगी दिल में तो (when fire kindled in heart)

दिल को तेरी याद आई (heart remembered you)

तेरी याद आई तो (as I remembered you)

जल उठा मेरा भीगा बदन (my wet body got blazed)

अब तु ही बताओ साजन (now you tell me beloved)

मैं क्या करू (what should I do)

नाम तेरा मेरे लबों पे आया था – 2 (your name came on my lips)

हो मैने बहाने से तुम्हे बुलाया था (with an excuse I called you)

झूम कर गया सावन (with a swing came the season of love)

मैं क्या करू (what should I do)

टिप-टिप बरसा पानी (Drop by drop the rain poured)

पानी ने आग लगाई (water kindled fire)

आग लगी दिल में तो (when fire kindled in heart)

दिल को तेरी याद आई (heart remembered you)

तेरी याद आई तो (as I remembered you)

जल उठा मेरा भीगा बदन (my wet body got blazed)

अब तु ही बताओ साजन (now you tell me beloved)

मैं क्या करू (what should I do)

डूबा दरिया में खड़ा मैं साहिल पर – 2 (in an immersed river, standing on shore)

तू बिजली बनकर गिरी मेरे दिल पर (you came as lightening & struck my heart)

चली ऐसी यह पागल पवन (a crazy wind blew)

मैं क्या करू (what I should do)

टिप-टिप बरसा पानी (Drop by drop the rain poured)

पानी ने आग लगाई (water kindled fire)

आग लगी दिल में तो (when fire kindled in heart)

दिल को तेरी याद आई (heart remembered you)

तेरी याद आई तो (as I remembered you)

छा गया मुझपे दीवानापन (state of love spread in me)

मेरे बस में नही मेरा मन (out of control is my mind)

मैं क्या करू (what should I do)
