Tea for Cough, Pitta and Vata

Cough, Pitta & Vata are body’s 3 elements.

Some people have more of Cough element, some have more of Pitta element & some have more of Vata element. It is because of genetic reasons.

The element that is/are in excess when increases beyond a particular level causes imbalance thus causes health issues.

If you are aware of what element is in excess in your body & are interested in reducing it then having tea made from ingredients that are mostly available in kitchen or can be obtained easily, mentioned below will help. One has to take these ingredients in small quantities & boil it in water to prepare tea.

For reducing cough: - Tea can be taken made by boiling Black Pepper, Cinnamon, Clove, Ginger, Lemon grass, Liquorice, Nutmeg & Turmeric.

For reducing pitta: - Tea can be taken made by boiling Aniseed, Bishop’s weed, Cinnamon, Coriander, Ginger, Liquorice & Rose petals.

For reducing vata: - Tea can be taken made by boiling Bishop’s weed, Cinnamon, Coriander, Cumin, Fennel, Fenugreek, Ginger & Liquorice.

N.B.: - If one is taking medicines to reduce these doshas then it shouldn’t be discontinued. The ingredients mentioned above for making tea aren’t medicine’s alternatives.
