Why medicines are of different colours

Have you ever wondered why a particular medicine has a particular colour?

Many of us may think that medicines come in different colours so that one can distinguish it from other medicines while taking it; as sometimes one may have to take many medicines at a time. It’s indeed a right reason.

But its main reason is that colours affect thoughts, thoughts affect mind & mind affects body. Hence Pharmaceutical companies make medicines of different colours.

Some examples: - White coloured medicines are generally for pain. Red coloured medicines are generally for depression. Blue & Green coloured medicines are generally for calming.

N.B.: - Not all White, Red, Blue & Greed coloured medicines are for pain, depression & calming respectively.
