A sensible way to wash fruits & vegetables

Since a few decades spray of insecticides, pesticides & other chemicals have gone up on crops, fruits, vegetables, etc. Insecticides, pesticides & other chemicals are sprayed to prevent insects, pests & germs from harming crops. Insects & pests survive & grow by eating crops, fruits, vegetables, etc. When an insect or pest eats crop or fruit or vegetable sprayed with insecticide or pesticide it either becomes unconscious or dies as these insecticides & pesticides are poisonous chemical compounds. These eating such fruits or vegetables sprayed with insecticides & pesticides can harm us too.

Thus a sensible way to prevent the harm or to minimise the harm is by washing the vegetables with water that contains salt in high concentration. Or by keeping it in salted water for some time & then rinsing it with cold water. The salted water is stronger than normal water & can remove the chemicals. Also as we all humans consume salt this procedure is harmless.
