Many people overeat especially on holidays or weekends. On
holidays they prefer to enjoy their day with their favourite food & as they
eat something they relish mostly they overeat. But this isn’t good for health
as on a holiday people hardly work & consume more calories than required.
There’s also a trend amongst many to sit in front of television
or relax after finishing their meals. Perhaps it gives them immense
psychological satisfaction however it isn’t good for the body.
After eating food the sugar levels in blood rise. The body has
to digest that food. When 1 sits comfortably or relaxes on a sofa or bed the spinal
cord’s or stomach’s posture is generally not straight. This affects the
metabolism process & the sugar levels remain high for a long duration.
A good option is to wash utensils after eating meals as while
washing utensils 1 generally has to stand straight for some time & this
helps the spinal cord & stomach to remain straight & aids metabolism
& sugar levels don’t remain high for a long duration. Other option is to
walk slowly around for some time. Such activities aid metabolism & sugar
level doesn’t remain elevated for a long duration.
